About CrankDex
CrankDex is an independent reference that answers one question well: what battery actually fits your exact machine? Today that covers 12,281 verified fitments across 2090 models from 44 makes - motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, scooters, PWCs, and snowmobiles.
Why we built it
Battery fitment answers are scattered across owner's manuals, forum threads, retailer finders, and PDFs, and they often disagree. We assemble that information in one place, check it, and show our work, so you get a single clear answer instead of a guess.
How we verify
We build each fitment from established retailer application databases - the same fitment data a parts counter sells against, so it is correct by construction - and reference industry-standard size codes. Every page shows the source we used and the date we last checked it. Read the full method.
Independent by design
We are a reference, not a parts store. The spec comes first; the "where to buy" links are optional and never change the answer. We earn a small affiliate commission when you buy through some links, disclosed at every link and at no extra cost to you. How we make money.
